3/15/2023 0 Comments Endless sky ships locationI dont recommend taking the regular transport missions as they only give between 5k and 30k at best. – plenty of mass expansions: then plenty of bunks. the bactrian is also a contender here with a stardard bunk size of 245, granted 74 go to the crew. just like with the cargo ships the mule makes a good candidate, but i myself prefer the blackbird. Passenger Transports: These are often fairly quick ships since the lack of cargo makes them considerably faster, since human bodies appear to not slow the ship at all. also note that if not all ships are in the sector at the time when you land you will not have access to your entire cargo. plenty of cargo expanders: self explanitoryĪs you pay each day for the amount of crew you have its often best to have ships that require as little crew as possible, so the bactrian is kinda out of the question, however a well fitted mule(medium warship) works very well for this purpose.no shields: every ship leaves station with a certain amount of shield the extra wont help.no weapons: this is to save room for cargo space.atomic engines: low outfit space/ high thrust capacity.there are a couple of things that make these ships more succesful. this is considered one of the cheaper methods to earn income alongside the passenger transports. these ships work for both mission cargo and simple trading, often the way to make this method work is to have as low as possible crew with a high as possible cargo size. many people prefer scram drives with these to reduce the time between worlds. This section is to explain how to create the different types of ships.Ĭargo Transports: These are generally slow ships with massive cargo space to start with. The ShipĪs you may well already know, ships can be customized to fit a number of different purposes Cargo Transports, Passenger Transports, Escort Ships, Ship Raiding, Ship Capturing, Destroyers, and any mix of whats been or hasnt been said. the more bunks you have at one time the better, some missions like the colonist or strike breakers missions require a lot of bunks but ive seen them pay upwards of 1m for a single run. instead invest in bunks or more manueverability to outrun pirates. well yes but shuttles and starbarges are pathetic in the first place you wont survive even with the shields and guns. now you may be thinking “but then ill be defenseless!”. if you get a shuttle you can find an outfitter and sell your shield your battery, and perhaps weaponry you may have equipped. The best method ive seen to earning quick cash early game is to take transport missions, particularly families. also most people dont note that you can infact make early payments to your loan, i suggest when you reach 100k you pay off 50k of your loan, never pay off the full amount as the next time you depart you wont have a money to deposit. this will help you start plotting shorter paths for missions and prevent the unfortunate dead-ends. During the tutorial quest(and i suggest you do the quest as it provides nice currency) you should visit every outfitter you come across and buy a map. If you’ve already begun playing the game then you know by now that you begin with a nice hefty loan of just under 500k, and your spending a lot of time trying to get out from under the massive debt. You should not take these as the sole means of playing the game as is with any game you can later find a method that you enjoy most that i may have not found yet.
